I still need to register the tires, look through the roadside assistance book, and do the other early owner stuff. My dashcam isn’t even installed yet.

I’ve been busy, and the miles show. In fact, I’m at 1,053 now per my Car Net app.

Register the tires? For what? Road Hazzard? Dam n, guess I need to do that too. Or do you mean for TPMS? I haven't done it yet either. And I've had my car since 4/14. Lol

My magic 8 ball says the review will generally be “It’s awesome”

**Prediction created by o wner of a MK6 TDI Sportwagen that is seriously tempted to trade it in for a MK7 AllTrack**

The Continental tires that come with the car have their own warranty in case they spontaneously break.

They ended the 0 it looks like, but 2.9 financing is more likely to expose you to the $7,000+ off deals.

I feel like this caught everyone by surprise, so I just wanted to clear things up.

I just paid off my MK6 2 weeks ago and love it so I won’t actually be trading it in as I plan on enjoying that extra few hundred buckaroos a month.

I’ll likely regret it in 3 years though when my sportwagen has a ton of miles and is starting to have problems and all the new VW wagons will be gone.

At the rate I’m driving now, I’ll be putting 26,000 miles on my car annually. Payments start in September, and I purposely set them up to pay it off before the warranty expired (72,000 miles). Looks like I’ll need to slow down the miles!

I’m thinking about keeping the Alltrack as a forever car.

Dang that’s a lot of miles for such a short time. I love the car though.

BTW where abouts do you usually do door dash? I stick close to the square if I can because there are some good tippers around but I tend to end up in east Cobb by the end of it.

That’s a serious amount of miles. I put about 20k per year on mine. I love it and would love for it to be my forever car but hesitations about VW long term reliability is what makes me doubt it’ll live in my garage longer than 5 more years.

The main goal is still a Tacoma Limited, Frontier Platinum Reserve (assuming the Titan’s trim structure), or a RAM midsize Laramie Longhorn or Limited if they bring one back. That would probably be a car to keep a long time, but the Alltrack is special. Thank

I think I’ve given decent hints without flat out saying where I am, but I usually deliver in West Cobb and East Paulding.

The problem now is that I stick out a lot! I doubt there are any other Alltracks with Georgia flag front plates, let alone Silk Blue ones.

Toyotas are definitely easier to make forever cars. Been thinking about buying a 4Runner for that myself. We love my wife’s RAV4 Hybrid Limited and it’s a very nice car we can see us keeping for a very long time.

I really don’t like the new RAV4. It comes in a couple nice colors, but it just looks weird.

We’ve got a 2016 so it’s the last gen.  It’s a very nice place to spend time inside and gets excellent gas mileage.

I like how they look, but that generation looks very old inside. Comfy interior, though.

Sure the infotainment looks dated, but it’s stable which is more than I could say for the Flex we replaced it with.

Infotainment designs and tendancies change so much every couple years it makes everything look dated.  Hell I love the unit in my Sportwagen but it reminds me of a double din I could have installed in a car 15 years ago.

All 4 of the people who might recognize a Silk Blue Alltrack based on an internet persona probably don’t have insidious intentions (except me hehehehe). Makes you wonder if anyone is lurking in the background without an account though. Autumn Metallic is also quite distinctive.

Sometimes I think I've given too many hints as well, but I doubt anyone remembers. I kind of figured that end of the county, but there are less restaurants over that end (and less drivers I guess).

Nice!

I miss driving my MK7. It is in my driveway, but I have barely left the house since the quarantine started 3 months ago.

I wanted photo navigation from Apple Maps due to my food delivery job, and I like being able to tell Siri to do stuff for me. Unless I had an FCA product with the VR button on the steering wheel, I don’t think I could do that stuff without CarPlay.

The Square is still a popular place for locals. Since my group for a school project was from the surrounding area, I joked we’d meet at the Square for our project once we got sent home.

The good thing about being grown is that I just do my own thing. I like to find my own places.

There are some high end apartment complexes near whatever the baseball field is named now (not SunTrust after a merger) that tip well, but parking and delivery is  usually a challenge. I've enjoyed trying to find different areas that are more lucrative. But just never ever accept orders for Harold's Chicken Shack and Hookah Bar on Roswell.
